Your ring **** is making me super-anxious to hurry up and get one of my own already! But, I'll try my best to follow your example and be patient. If you can wait 9 months, so can I! lol. Your diamond is so, so, so perfect! It's super fiery with amazing facets, faces up totally white yet has that secretive OEC hint of creaminess only from certain angles. Such romance! And thanks for the links to ForteKitty and Missy's stunning rings…proof that L color OECs look perfectly at home in a platinum solitaire. I agree your stone would also look lovely in platinum, but I (and everyone else!) adore your RG setting. I think the RG is very much in keeping with the antiqueness of the stone, they just "go together," yanno? You could've told me that your ring is an untouched period original and I would believe you! So I'm still leaning toward going with your RG/WG setting.

By the way, your new YG eternity band is gorgeous and goes perfectly with your ring! I love seeing how versatile your RG/WG setting is -- it plays so well with any color metal band!!

Val, urs is my favorite ring on Pricescope It is elegance and perfection. I also love the eternities you paired it with. In the photo with 2 eternity rings, one yellow and one white, can I ask you, please, what style of pave setting is the white gold one? It almost looks like it could be bezel set, but it is too fine to be so.....Also do you know how big the diamonds are in it?

I was about to post an update with some pictures of my solitaire with her new band, but all my pictures are rotating. I have seen others have this problem but it has never happened to me. Anyone know how to remedy this?

Ok...think I fixed the rotation problem...

I finally got a band that truly goes with my solitaire. It only took 2 years! In truth, I have known that the Tiffany Metro in RG was THE band for my ring, but for some reason I couldn't justify spending the money on it so I searched and searched. Nothing. Fortunately, my husband put me out of my misery this Christmas and there was a little blue box under the tree! It's the perfect match and I'm thrilled that my set finally feels complete!

As usual, here are 800 pictures to document the band.

Ok, wow! That is stunning on your hand. It has such pretty chunky facets and it is substantial but not too flashy! I'm in love!
