My 4.02ct YZ Pear in a custom YG setting by Icerock diamonds.

This is my first custom project with Icerock diamonds and I’m thrilled with the results. Both Sam and Molly are a dream to work with. My initial contact with Sam was through Instagram, he responded quickly to my DM and in a matter of days, he had found me the diamond that was in my budget, colour I loved and the measurements that I was looking for. The design is Molly’s domain and I told her what I was looking for. There were a couple of emails then the CAD arrived and off we went. After lurking here for years, I can admit that I’m not detail specific. I knew that the balance and proportion of the ring would be perfect, and it is.

It’s beautiful! The setting looks very well made and perfectly proportioned.

What an absolute stunner of a ring! I absolutely LOVE it!!

Is the setting secure enough to wear everyday? I think it’s beyond gorgeous but it does make me a bit nervous since it looks so delicate from the face up. If it is, then I tip my metaphorical hat to the jeweler - it is not easy to make something so delicate and ethereal also be practical, if you know what I mean. Though from the bottom it looks very sturdy actually.

Really a stunner. I’m speechless. I think this ring belongs on a Pinterest inspiration board or like a hall of fame or something. Gorgeous. Congratulations!

Thank you. Yes the setting is very well made and can be worn every day. I don’t baby my pieces but I also take them off as soon as I get home, so no chores or anything.
