Thank you soooo much for the lovely well wishes for our anniversary. Your kindness touches my heart. Now for a bit more info about the stone and ring. I took the stone to a local jeweler, and he sent it to Princess Jewelers in LA. I am pleased with the delicate milgraining and the engraving on the band. The asscher shaped halo for a round stone led us to a custom setting. The addition of the 2 diamonds in each of the beveled corners was my jewelers idea. I love the way the basket looks. We had our initials and the date inscribed in the band. The claw prongs are not as delicate as the ones on my Ering, but I am satisfied with the final design. Everytime I look at it, I am reminded of my DH's love. Thanks, again, for sharing my joy.

Ok, this as well as the unheated ruby and diamond ring in the colored stones forum is a dream-ring. This setting kind of reminds me of a medieval castle and the stone is magnificent.

I was thinking the same thing as we are close to our 35th! It's never too late to add beautiful pieces to our collections, and our children and grandchildren will also have them to enjoy in the future!
