#TBT My ~.58ct OEC in a victorian rose cut diamond halo :)

Per the listing
- Victorian era
- OEC measuring 5.23mm in diameter and 3.50mm deep, approximately at least 58 points or .58 carat.
- very very tiny inclusion looking under the loupe, it is very sparkling (i agree with their assessment - had to hunt for the inclusion though)
- estimated to be at least G to H in color and SI in clarity
- around the center stone are 16 rose cut diamonds.
- size 7, can be resized and weighs 2.8 grams or 1.8 dwt
- "very old, pre-loved with minor wear, gorgeous details and in great condition" (agreed, but definitely needs a polish)

I was very nervous waiting for the ring to get here, missed the mail man to sign TWICE and finally got my hands on it today.

Thanks all!! It's my first ebay find! I'm totally in love with the diamond, but unsure about the setting together. The diamond totally has a life of its own, looks really white (even when compared to my GIA I Ering), and has big chunky arrows i can't seem to get a good picture of. Part of me wonders what a colored stone would look like in the setting, then i look at it again and don't want to break the pair up. I mean - they've been together for quite some time, it seems. I don't know, I'm conflicted.

I'm wearing it around the house now to get a better feel for it. I keep staring at it wondering if it needs a good clean to get the rose cut diamonds to shine a little more .

Maybe I should have started small with stackers and worked my way up here, haha.
