My 6 stone holy grail band that sparkles

Awesome! I'm sure the sparkle is amazing.

Oooooo! This is wonderful! Looks so comfy. Great job!

It's perfect on you. Congratulations!

Really beautiful and a very easy to wear style! Also love the 2 tone setting.

Thank you, the sparkle is - very pleasing :).

I quite enjoy the look of yellow gold, I think it's kinder on my skin tone, albeit it most of the yellow is under my finger. (Probably didn't think that one through enough.)

Truly lovely ring! It looks both sparkly and comfortable/wearable, with a great design!

Enjoy and happy birthday!

:kiss2: This. Is. AMAZING!!!!! :kiss2: I love, love, love it!!! I love how it wraps around your finger but still looks super comfy (no pokey prongs jabbing between your fingers). I also love how low set it is. I find low set rings really practical and so wearable. It really is a perfect, blingy everyday ring, well done on such a great design!! :appl:

Thank you @Tigerlilyrosepetal, @Queenie60, @Slick1 and @RunningwithScissors - I have been wearing the ring about the house (just coz!) and that's not something I normally do and it is comfortable. (Nor does it spin, I was a bit worried about going to the effort of trying to have the stones sit across the top of my finger to then have it spin and end up with stones between my fingers after all).

@GeorgieQ your remodelling of your 5 stone ACA ring was another post that really helped me out. I believe you stones and our finger sizes are the same(ish) and that really helped me visualise how the ring would look. (That and umpteen tiny bits of paper cut outs cellotaped to my fingers!)

Today was the first day we had some sunshine and I couldn't resist a few more pictures...

And lastly a pic with my garden favourite, Mr Dragon. Except - when the ring *nearly* fell down behind Mr Dragon and in between the wall and the fence I decided that perhaps enough was enough!

After a week of wearing the ring, the stones are always 'on'. In low light they gleam and in bright light they sparkle, there's no 'having to find the right lighting'. In fact they sparkle so much I suspect some people think the stones are fake - which is fair enough, most of the stones I see around here just don't come to life the way these ACA melee do.

@mrs-b you mentioned my gran's ring. It was originally a 3-stone with diamond shoulders. The stones are tiny, I reckon 0.06 - 0.1 - 0.06 but they do sparkle. (I actually think the 0.06cts hold their own against my WF DBTY, but it's hard to tell objectively). But as a whole, they simply don't compare with the new ring. So they will be retired for a while and will reappear at some point as part of a rose gold oval bangle.

I had planned to wear the ring alone, but for fun I tried it with Gran's wedding band - I think it works, except it also makes me look all grown up and married, so I don't think I'll bother!

But it did give me an idea, that a band of square cut emeralds would look rather lovely alongside it...or pink spinel baguettes or....

Thank you everyone for allowing me to share this journey with you; it has been nice to share the details with fellow folks who get all the all-consuming nature of the search.. followed by nuttiness of taking pictures of your hands in the garden.

I love how this eternity band is a little different from what you usually see, just so pretty!

Thank you. I wouldn't have dreamed of six stones originally and it was a compromise for comfort but now all I see are diamonds and the number of stones doesn't cross my mind.

Thank you, I'm still getting used to wearing it. The sun has been out the past few days and I'm going to end up flat on my face if I don't stop staring at my hand and start looking at where I'm going.

Giggling!

Beautiful! It looks perfect on you! WF ACAs are so awesome!

This is so gorgeous! I keep coming back to look. I want one!

Lovely ring on beautiful hands. Congratulations!

I was waiting in the car for the kids and managed to capture the fire of the ACA melee - but so far I can't figure out how to post the video without my picture on it!. Drat.

When waiting in the car for the kids isn't so bad. WF ACA melee in action - I love how the rainbows sometimes seem to go round in circles.

How did I miss this...absolutely gorgeous band!! Love the bezel setting, and it looks perfect on your hand. My gosh, look at those ACAs sparkle :kiss2:

Thank you, we've had great sunshine the last few days and while sitting in the car I thought "well, why not?" (coz we Scots don't often take videos of our jewellery - I don't think it quite fits with the Braveheart imagery  )

Thank you. I believe it's called a partial bezel - there is gap between each stone (which was my preference, to have metal around each stone would have, in my mind, broken up the line of sparkle).

Here are some WF pictures that show the setting a bit better. It was done with CADs. I provided an inspo picture, and after a few questions around the diameter/depth of the diamonds I decided on 6 x 0.2ct and job done.

At normal viewing distance I can't really see any definition between the stones, but then the sparkle isn't helping :)

Gorgeous!!!
If you don't mind, could you tell what was the cost and quality of stores?
Thank you!

This is beautiful - I love the bezel setting and how the band transitions to YG!
