Thank you for all the lovely comments! I really took a leap of faith with this ring, I had never seen an "old cut" IRL before.
I took a chance on her and I love her so!!

Oh this ring it just beautiful. I have been looking and thinking very hard about this ring. Showed my husband a few times. Love the extra side bling. Called Grace about it but it was a tad over budget so I am glad you bought it and got me out of trouble

I LOVE the proportions!! They're similar to my ring - center significantly larger than sides, and I love the way they spread on your finger

The setting is absolutely gorgeous, and the faceting on the center is picture perfect... talk about an enviable introduction to old cuts

Grace and I have taken to calling her "Bridgette Bardot". She is a bit of a bombshell, and they don't make 'em like that anymore! Lol

A couple of months ago I had the stone put into a new setting. I adored the ring as a whole but felt the stone needed to shine on it's own.
I had the original setting made into a RHR for my daughter. My MIL left small stones to all of her "Grands." My daughter used this setting for her stone. So I feel like it is still a very special piece! It gives me pleasure to pass it on to my daughter.
I really love how this stone looks in a simpler setting!
