Beautiful ring. Exact same size diamond and similar setting to my mother''s. She has been wearing hers 24/7 for over 58 years now. I know it would sparkle a whole lot more if she kept it clean.

Thank you! I didn''t know that was what it was called. I knew that was obviously the purpose of the setting, but now have something more to go on when I try to learn more about the history of the ring. From a distance, it really does look a lot bigger.

Ohhh. man! The DETAIL work on the head and basket is amazing

The head looks like it''s carved to resemble flower petals, just beneath the prongs, and the swooping "X" carving on the basket is gorgeous!!!! It''s almost art nouveau-ish! I love that!
