I was so sad when I started reading your post, but glad to find it had a good ending. It''s very scary when something like that happens to your kid and you''re alone. Don''t be too hard on yourself though. It wasn''t your fault. Things like this happen to kids as they grow up and I know how much it hurts you at that moment.
When my daughter fell and hit the corner of a coffee table and started bleeding, it freaked me out so much I was crying more than she was. But thank goodness she was okay and so is your daughter. That is all that matters. Now, all I hope for is a quick recovery so she can enjoy her bday party!
