Is that a custom setting??? I want that setting and am having the HARDEST time finding one that''s not cheap looking! Where did you get it? I am waiting now to have my diamond set BUT NEED THE SETTING!!!

I did ask them to pull baguettes that were a tad longer because I really liked the look. I was very worried at first about the "v prongs," as most emeralds are set in a basket, but so much more of the stone shows this way! I just love it.

When I took the ring to an independent appraiser, she also commented on the great craftsmanship of the ring. I only have the best things to say about James Allen!

Thank you so much chicagogirl!!! I looked for that setting for a month. As you may have noticed this setting is made by a few people but most of them are cheap looking! Anyway, my jeweler promises me that he will be giving me the EXACT setting! Will post pics in 2 weeks when I get it...if he proposes by then, he better, lol!

No problem Tuesdaem! I can''t wait to see the finished product!! I know, the waiting is the worst part. My FI had the ring stashed somewhere in our place for two weeks! It took everything I had not to tear the place apart looking for it. What center stone are you putting in the setting? Are you doing a v prong or basket to hold the center stone?
