Just got in my black titanium spacer I have a few questions about. First is titanium alright to have with gold and diamonds? Second what's your HONEST opinion. Third is there any other black stackers out there?

IDK in some ways I think it is too harsh for such a romantic set, but when I look at the side view, it looks kind of cool.

It's not a look I could rock but I think it looks VERY cool with your set!!

First reaction - OMG!! THAT IS TOO COOL FOR SCHOOL!!!

Second - maybe NonieMarie has something there - could it be a big harsh for such a beautifully soft and feminine set??

It *IS* super cool tho - I'm loving it even if it is quite the contrast!! you are a trendsetter, little lady!! :appl:

Those are really great points. The contrast is huge but unit the shapes of each ring comes alive too. Keep those thoughts coming please! If you don't like it I would LOVE to know why.

Is it very noticeable in real life? I love how it separates the 2 rings.

well, what a fearless, bold move !!! Innovative !!!!
Flying in the face of tradition !!!!!!

I LOVE it !!!

Black and white ~ I REALLY think it sets off your stones / setting !!!!

BTW, where did that spacer come from ? :naughty:

Lorrissey - in real life it more or less looks like a shadow at first glance. It's very thin. I also agree that it does a wonderful job of separating the two.

ooo~Shiney! - Believe it or not its sold as a toe ring! I couldn't find much that was a black 1mm. My wedding dress is black and white.

I'm not sure but does anyone find the black gives it a Victorian look? And does anyone know if titanium is good with gold and diamonds?

I get why some people wouldn't be into this look but I LOVE it. Adds some negative space and in my view it's quite neutral. Cool!

I really like it! It's not something I would have thought to do but I think it looks so cool!

I really like it! And I love your band - where did you get it?

I kind of like it...I probably wouldn't wear that look every day but it would be fun to mix it
Up now and then.

I love it!!! Yes indeed that is something I would wear :sun: I love cool unconventional looks and that is trendy but doesn't detract from your gorgeous set! Very "IT GIRL" :appl:

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! I don't think it's too harsh, and I love how it gives a very subtle separation between your engagement ring and wedding ring. Enough for us to appreciate the beauty of the two rings separately, but also admire the entire set as a whole. The only thing I would consider is how an even thinner black spacer would look, but pretty sure they don't make those.

What a crazy cool idea! I love it!

I agree . it's makes diamond stand out. I have diamond in Black rodiumm finished setting and
the setting makes contrast well.

Ooh! Can you post a pic? I'd loooove to see it!

I like it! rock it!

Looks almost "medieval" and wonderful! I love it!!

I love how it sets off your set!
As for the metals question, did you look up which is harder? Titanium vs whichever karat of gold your rings are?

I really like it.
I don't know if the titanium will 'eat' the gold. I think it's harder but it is smooth, so it's not like sharp diamond girdles from an eternity band eating gold prongs on an e-ring. But it may rub a bit over time.

it's pendant top. is it ok? if so, I will take pic it.

I also agree that it's looks like medieval style.
I saw lady portrait ( from medich family) paint at Uffizi. she is wearing very thin black ring.
here is rose cut diamond pen top in black rodium on white gold and rose cut in plutinum setting ( for compare)

I love it. I think if you had a plat or white gold spacer the 2 rings would just blur into 1. With the black spacer the intricate details in both rings really pop.

WOW!!  I love the look! The contrast with the romantic wedding set and the edginess of the spacer looks great especially in the side view!

I have a bunch of stackers in different metals and after seeing this I might try to find the silver one with black enamel surface and start wearing it again.. :Up_to_something:

I certainly couldn't pull that off...I'm too traditional (read: old), but I think it looks great! I do wonder if you will like it a year from now, but if it wasn't too expensive, I say rock it while you've got it!!

I think it's cool-where did you get it?

I love it! And I actually love the front view too-not just the profile. I think it gives it a romantic touch vs taking away from it. So edgy and romantic at the same time...love it!
