My brand new engagement ring!!

Hello everyone!!

I've mostly been a lurker but posted a few topics seeking advice/guidance. Well... Here are the fruits of your labor! My now fiancé proposed much sooner than I anticipated and I could not be happier to spend the rest of my life with him!

The diamond was my late grandfather's... Recently appraised as 1.15 ct., I-J Color, VS2. They did not provide a rating on Cut, but everyone at both the jewelry store where she had it appraised and the store that set the ring was completely gushing over it so I assume it's pretty well cut.

The setting is platinum. The baguettes are .35 ct. total, G-H color, VS1 and VS2 clarity.
