FancyDiamond--I'd be interested in seeing how it looks next to my eternity band also. Not sure if it is too much bling for the 3 stone. How do you wear yours--together or separate? You've got quite a diamond ring collection there yourself!!! BTW, my ring size is 6 (I like my rings a little loose!). I do love my halo--I wear it everyday to work!

I usually wear my 3-stone with the plain, 2mm platinum band. For occasions when I need the extra bling, I add my eternity ring. Our 3-stone and eternity rings are about the same size, and our rings are the same size 6. We are diamond twins. I am curious about what you think of the proportion, that is, how 15-pt melees in eternity complement your 2.3+ct center stone. For me, although 10-pt melees may match better, I just love the more substantial look of 15-pt melees. The trios look very nice together from a distance.

Your halo ring is very nice. My right hand ring is a 2.5ctw, 5-stone Trellis ring. For special occasions, I wear it on my right finger and my 3-stone ring on my left finger at the same time. Wonder if you wear both rings, 3-stone and halo rings, at the same time?

Re: My Brian Gavin Truth 3 Stone Ring in Platinum...Priceles

The ring turned out beautifully but - and I say this all the time! - we need more pictures! Would love to see the profile and to know if you plan to wear any kind of band with this new ring.

So glad you are pleased - and no wonder! It's just blingtastic!! :appl:

Not too much later. . . you know how diamond thirsty this bunch can get!

Re: My Brian Gavin Truth 3 Stone Ring in Platinum...Priceles

Together w/ eternity band! Too much bling for 1 hand?!?

Re: My Brian Gavin Truth 3 Stone Ring in Platinum...Priceles

I really like the look of a 3 stone with a plain band, it is so classic.

And another!

Profile views w/ the eternity band--it sits pretty low and is close to the ring so there's not a big gap.

Still undecided about what to pair the 3 stone with at this point in time. I don't own a plain band, though (at least not yet)!

gorgeous!!! does your eternity fit your right hand?

Re: My Brian Gavin Truth 3 Stone Ring in Platinum...Priceles

Your ring is just divine - love the profile shot! As for the eternity ring paired with it - they are both gorgeous rings but together I think they blend into one another. I say that because I have a three stone and always found that to be the case. I love a plain band with a three stone ring but always wanted some kind of diamond band. I finally found it this spring with a MUCH thinner diamond band. It doesn't compete with the ering but rather compliments it IMO. Took years of searching for just the right look for me!

You'll just have to try on many combos to see what your eye prefers. The ring is substantial enough to be worn on its own as well.

Congrats on the ring and enjoy the sparkles. It will catch your eye so many times - and that of others as well so be prepared for the onslaught!! It's all great fun though - only diamond addicts will truly appreciate the joy we derive from these things!

Your 3 stone ring is stunning and it looks so good on your finger!!!
Thanks for sharing.

Re: My Brian Gavin Truth 3 Stone Ring in Platinum...Priceles

I agree with MissGotRocks that your two rings seem to blend together. Suggest that you get a thin band to separate them if you want to wear them together. As I mentioned before, I usually pair my 3-stone ring with a plain, 2mm platinum band, and I add the eternity ring for more blingy occasion. The platinum band separates the two diamond rings and adds protection. You may consider getting a thin band yourself.

Attached here is a photo of my three rings worn together. Unfortunately, I do not have a photo handy for the 3-stone ring with a plain band. Trust me, the combination is elegant looking.

Re: My Brian Gavin Truth 3 Stone Ring in Platinum...Priceles

Your new 3-stone ring looks HUGE (in a good way of course :)) ) and utterly beautiful!  Congrats!

I also agree with the others abt wearing it with a plain band or a thinner eternity. I have a 23pt band and when I pair it up with my 3-stone ring, they all just blend in together, rather than having the 3-stone ring be the star attraction.

Re: My Brian Gavin Truth 3 Stone Ring in Platinum...Priceles

Phoenix, MissGotRocks and FancyDiamond--thanks for all your opinions which have been very helpful! Looks like I'm going to have to look for a plain platinum band soon!

Is there an updated 3 stone thread that I can add my new sparklie to?!

Re: My Brian Gavin Truth 3 Stone Ring in Platinum...Priceles

What were your thoughts after having worn it for a day? Did all your friends and coworkers love it? I'm sure they did!

It really turned out well - I voted for another mounting but the side profile of this one is so very pretty.

As for the plain band, you'll find that some of them are flat and some have a more rounded appearance. You'll just have to go try them on to see which one you like best.

Re: My Brian Gavin Truth 3 Stone Ring in Platinum...Priceles

Unfortunately, my eternity band is a little tight on the right hand (should have sized it up to a 6 originally instead of a 5.5)! I'm not sure if I want to spend the money on resizing/having to add a diamond to the band right now!

Re: My Brian Gavin Truth 3 Stone Ring in Platinum...Priceles

WOW...your ring is absolutely stunning. SIMPLY GORGEOUS! I have tried numerous bands with my 3-stone ring and am currently wearing it with a five stone ring. However, regardless what band I pair with it, I find that I need a thin spacer to break up the look.

Re: My Brian Gavin Truth 3 Stone Ring in Platinum...Priceles

wowwweeee It looks gorgeous on your hand! love the truth head

Re: My Brian Gavin Truth 3 Stone Ring in Platinum...Priceles

Just beautiful!!! I love the side profile of that setting.

Re: My Brian Gavin Truth 3 Stone Ring in Platinum...Priceles

Did I read that you are upgrading to a 3 ct. stone? Is the center stone of this ring the one that you are upgrading?
