Thank you guys for all the sweet compliments, but I am a little bummed. My mom and my sister don''t like the ring, the think the diamond look like it''s not set straight and the band is too thin and the head is too big

Can you say J-E-A-L-O-U-S? Come on now! I can''t IMAGINE saying something like that about any of my friends or families rings (at least to their face- hee hee)

But NO ONE I KNOW (personally that is - hi P-scope pals!) has anything nearly as GEEEEOOORRRGEEEOUUUSSS as that ring of yours.

we went to pick up the ring this past saturday.(I didn''t see the ring, he wouldn''t let me) He was going to wait a while to propose. But my mother called that night and she want to see the ring, so we went home and he show her and my sister the ring. I was in the kitchen and I can hear their conversation and I know he must felt bad after hearing their opinion.

After we got back to our apartment, he told me he really wanted me to look at the ring, if I don''t like it we can take it back to the jeweler and ask him to fix it. so he got down on his knee and proposed, he was so nervous he tried to put the ring on my right hand

He told me he is planning another formal proposal, something more romantic. So now the ring is back into his possession (after I took all the photos that I need to share with my PS family of course) and he hide the ring so I won''t find it.

In a way I''m sad because my mom spoil his proposal, but I love the ring, anything from him I will love even if it''s not perfect. Thanks for letting me vent!

If you love the design (like we all do) then you should wear it proudly no matter what others say. I''m sure there are some people out there that don''t like my ring, oh well... the HECK w/ them, as long as I''m HAPPY w/ it. They don''t live with my ring, I do. So there....!!!!

Bobo, First let me say your ring is BEAUTIFUL!!! And, the fact that your b/f picked that out by himself is soooo touching and impressive!! I think he did a great job! (or, did you two pick it out together, and I missed somthing). In any case it's gorgeous!

Now, my two cents...your mom and sister should have bit their tongues. To hurt your fiancé like that was wrong. Maybe they were expecting a more traditional solitare. Halo's are a rather new style, very young and modern. I personally LOVE the thin band! Sound like they just have different taste then the rest of us. It's only their opinion. And once you have a wedding band on that baby, it's going to be even more gorgeous!!

Everything about that ring is perfect and I can't image what needs to be 'fixed'. Enjoy it!!!

Marvel, we picked the stone and the setting together, but he didn''t want me to see the ring after it''s set. But because of the comments my family made, he showed me the ring. The ring is now back into his possession and I''m waiting for another proposal from him.
