This is amazing! Very stunning.Hello Everyone!
Thank you to all who have given such good advice during this process! My two rings arrived last week and I wanted to share a little of the backstory first. A few months ago my 3.15 0MC fell out of its setting and was lost for several days. Thankfully, my seven-year-old granddaughter found it! The original setting had only four prongs and one of the prongs had broken off causing the diamond to fall out. For the new setting I knew I wanted something with six or eight prongs. I contacted Caysie at Cvb about designing it! We decided on an Edwardian inspired, platinum and yellow gold, eight prong setting with diamonds on the shoulders. At the same time we discussed resetting my original .5 carat EG in her Jessica style band adding my tiny heirloom diamond earrings on the sides so that I could wear both rings together. The whole process was such a fun and exciting experience. Caysie was a joy to work with and so easy to communicate with. I love her design aesthetic and have enjoyed looking at her lovely creations for years here on PS and on her IG. The finished results blew me away. The CADS are so helpful but nothing prepared me for the finished pieces! The delicacy of the proportions and detail work is breathtaking. Both pieces are dainty yet substantial if that makes sense! I’m so glad I trusted Caysie’s advice and expertise when designing my rings’ new and beautiful wardrobes! Here are a few photos. (I'm not confident in how to properly post photos but I'll give it my best shot!) More to come.
LOL I'm trying to get a decent photo of my rather wrinkly hands! Stay tuned! It is very dainty and lovely by itself, IMO!@scoutfinch -
Still hoping for some shots of the 3 stone on your hand by itself? Pleeeease?
@Catmom Thank you! Yes it was a crazy few days.. I lost it at our daughter's house right as I was bringing all three little grandchildren to our house for the weekend (our daughter and her husband were going out of town) .. So all weekend I was desperately trying to just enjoy the grandchildren! They kept saying, "Darling, we are praying! Think happy thoughts" Then miraculously, a few days later, the 7 year old found it with her flashlight! I had already reached out to LAD for a replacement and was busy checking our insurance policy! Whew, just so relieved and in the end it turned out to be a blessing in disguise because the setting Caysie made for is more beautiful and secure!Absolutely gorgeous! Thank goodness your granddaughter found your stone. I can't imagine the fright.
