It is lovely! What a great mistake! I can see how you would be shocked though! You couldnt tell from the price
he quoted you that he was asking for too much for that first setting? I mean the second one has a lot more
diamonds and seems a little more complicated to make (to me) than the first one.

Anyway, all good in the end. I think it looks beautiful with your 2 eternity bands!

Haha... my fiancee was totally naive about pricing... and I was totally out of the loop, as I was supposed to be surprised! Which I definitely was. When we were thinking about resetting it, the jeweler did mention that the Rosebud was substaintially cheaper. Oh well.

Here are the stats on my E ring:

1.2 ct G VVS2. 1.01 ratio
1.0 ctw F VVS1-2 pave stones.

Congrats! Its a beautiful ring -- but I have to say ... its the STONE that really takes my breath away. I think you could have set that in bubble yum and it would still be perfection.

Amazing ring! It seems well made and has a delightful antique unity.

I absolutely love the way the milgrained trapezoids on the corners emphasize the asscher shape.


Realy, I blame your diamond for wispering to the jewler that it needed a more ornate throne...
Your boyfriend was also acting under the diamond''s influence during the email mishap - it destracted him on purpose.
