My diamond arrived

After weeks of faffing around and trying to get a diamond worth milions for pennies, I decided to go with a "temporary" diamond as I could no longer go without a ring (I kinda felt naked ever since my other one was stolen) so I purchased it from GOG as they have the upgrade option. It's an I1 and colour I and I really was worried about this , even though I was reassured it was sparkly, eyeclean and faced up white plus it is a H&A diamond, well it came today and it really is white, I can't see any of the inclusions (even with my high powered glasses)and I really am impressed with it, infact it looks better than my original H, SI1!

So just like to say thanks to this site and everyone on it, It really has been a big help, and without it, would never have across all the good diamond stores like GOG, WF and JA, and would have been stuck with an "OK" IGI diamond which is all I was ever offered here in the UK

Once I get the ring made up I will post pics

BTW: Should I still go and get it looked at, there dont seem to be any independent appraisers here in the UK?!?!

I love a great I1!!! Many congratulations to you, sounds like you made an excellent choice! I1 clarities aren''t created equal but if you find a good one which is well cut with a discreet inclusion or two which you don''t mind then thats fantastic.

If I can take pics of it later today I will, it is going to take another 3-4 weeks before it is made, so will at least try and get an image of diamond as is, just need to wait for hubby to come home as his camera is way better than mine.
