I *think* my boy got this stone for me last week. I''m not sure, but I''m thinking so. I love it already, but I don''t really know what a lot of the stuff on it means, and since I''m not getting much information from him, and I''m trying really hard not to ask him stuff about it, either, since he''s made it clear he wants it to be a surprise, and in case I''m *wrong* and he didn''t get it, I don''t want to look like an idiot to him. But so many of you know so much about diamonds and what all this stuff means, and I''m supposed to stay in the LIW, so can any of you tell me *if* this is my diamond, if my boy did good? Will I be blown away, given that I know nothing about diamonds, really?

It looks very nice. Plugging the #s into the HCA, it comes up a 1.4, which is excellent. My stone is a 1.4 as well, and I love it!

Heehee, Sunkist. All my buddies at work keep telling me to ease off and stop asking him so many questions and to just let him have this surprise over me. So, I''m trying like MAD not to talk to him about it, but I literally dream about it, asleep and awake. And gah, the picture is pretty as anything, and the ideal scope seems pretty, too. There are little bits of white that appear, and I don''t understand if that''s good or not. He tried to explain to me what the thing shows, but I think he was a little unclear on that, too. Let me see if I can post those. I still get confused by the uploading process!

It''s also a good thing Wink''s going to be out in Vegas for a while; otherwise, I''d be fighting the temptation to annoy the crud out of him asking if Paul''d contacted him yet to give my diamond a home.

Usually, when there is a diamond we''re looking at and it sells, I hear from Jamie. I''ve not heard anything from her, though. Aye. I''m going nuts trying to *bust this case!* Paul would LOVE to know that!!

Well I guess I can''t find it at WF because it''s sold, right?

Are the white marks on the IS around the outside of the stone? These are points where there is light leakage. It''s not a bad thing though! It''s like WF''s classic cut ACA (as opposed to the the new cut), even though this isn''t technically an ACA if it''s an Expert Selection. But with the spots of light leakage I guess it creates a contrast between reflected light and darkness, and it just makes your stone beautiful! That''s how I would explain it

It''s a beauty. My RB has similar numbers (depth, table, crown/pav angle) and it rocks. The IS looks great...no worries. If this is the one you''ll be very pleased. And of all the pictures I''ve seen of Js on here they face up very white. Try to let Paul have his surprise...he really wants that for ya

Right now, I''d take the diamond tied to a loop of twine, I''m so eager and excited and thrilled. But really, I like the Roseco cathedral setting we''d talked about, with a tuliphead for the prongs, or I like the Abaizas *that''s not spelled right* tuliphead. I just want to have my fiancee! (Is it double e or not? I see it both ways)

I wonder if I can find that picture of the ring we tried to make look similar to the Niwaka ring. I''ll check.

Wow, I really like the first one --- I am a sucker for a beautiful cathedral setting!!! I like the tulip head as well. They are both really nice. I like that the diamond would be more visible in the second setting, but it would be more protected in the first one. Obviously I am no help here --- I''m sure either one of them would be fantastic on your hand!!!

Mimikins, I like both of them, too. I''m sure which ever he does choose *or HAS chosen* will be great. I do like the cathedral better, because I think it looks just like the water lily from Niwaka, only better. I like them both. I tend to be dramatic with flailing my hands around when I talk, and they slam into all sorts of things. I guess the more protected, the better. I don''t know. I just want it and all the planning and growing that goes along with it!

One of my clients calls me when I''m like this and just springy and unable to really focus or keep on task, being on a "crack high." I''ve never experienced it, nor has she, but she gets a kick out of seeing an adult act so silly and random. She''d be loving me right now!
 
Snooper, if it''s not mine, the one that is mine better be as pretty. I''m fully loving this one. Although, most the pictures I''ve seen from whiteflash look similar to me. I don''t have much of a discriminating eye for diamonds. Since this one is mine though, gosh, it just looks worlds better than any of the other pictures I''ve seen. You know how that goes.

ROFL! Oh wow who is going to make me laugh after you get engaged? You can never leave us I declare it! The crack remark is so funny though. I too act a little psychotic, neurotic, so many adjectives, and my mom does as well and when we are together watch out. I always used to ask her "mom did you switch crack dealers again? I warned you about that!" You are already cheering me up!

My loose stone is definitely fun to play with, but it will be sooo much more fun once it''s set, I think! Besides, it''s a little nerve wracking being so careful with it.

Do you have a good camera? Maybe you should practice taking close-up macro shots of stuff. That''s what I did before we bought our stone and my BF caught onto it when I showed him some macro shots of diamonds here on PS! Then I was a little embarrassed

How do you macro? The only time I''ve tried to take pictures of anything up close, it was my "paper" diamond. They didn''t come out too good, either.

I wonder how soon we''re talking here. I''m crazy nuts right now. Surely it can''t go on TOO long.

Tried to go to sleep twice already. It''s not working.
