hehe. Hopefully you can go to sleep soon, Fisher, while dreams of diamonds dance in your head! Does your camera have a menu option? Look around on there for macro, or maybe a flower icon. It just lets you focus on stuff closer to the lense. Try a user''s manual for your camera.

You have a flower button! That''s good. But look on the menu to see if you can pick the flower icon from there. Because on my camera the flower button is like a quick, not as good macro function. But if you select the flower/macro from the menu, then it''s a good macro shot. So look into that!

And hey, there''s no harm in brushing up on photo skills. They always come in handy!

Yay! I''ll have to play around with the camera thing tomorrow then. I don''t know a thing about the menu, I just like to twist the knob around to the different symbols and see what they do. I''ll look for "macro" though.

Oh wowsers, A completely exciting idiot moment here! OK so I had given up on the possibility that my camera had macro until you said tulip fish. I was thinking of a different kind of flower, like the 6 petal hippie type. I have a tulip right there

So I just tried and few shots and we are picking up the dust in between my keys on the ley board oh I have never been so excited to see dirt before in my life!

I''d be surprised if anyone here knows as he''s been MIA since you''ve been around.
You won''t be disappointed with the roseco...I have the cathedral and its a beauty. I don''t have the tulip head but it''s the same concept. People think my diamond is much bigger than it actually is (yesterday the lady at Kay''s was cleaning it and thought it was over a ct when it''s just under

). It was a bit to get used to for me since I''ve never had a solataire before but Wink''s people do fabulous work. Between the two you posted I''d pick Wink''s setting with no hesitation and the roseco will sit flush with any band you choose. Good luck. I keep checking to see if you''ve got your ring yet. I can''t wait to see what he picks out. And will you tell him to come back and chat with us too after he''s given you the ring? We really enjoyed his end of the search as well.

I''m also working like crazy mad to clean my house, since I put Paul on such a cleaning frenzy last weekend. My bathroom is impecably clean. Yes indeed. The kitchen is, too. As is the hallway, and most of the living room, and the spare room. The dining room is another story, though. Things I don''t know where to put end up collecting there. And my room is still full of clothes that need to be folded and put away, rather than just tossed in the right direction.

Then I need to mop and dust. I *love* the smell of PineSol. Yummy!!

Um, I don''t know how I *know,* I just do. He let it slip this weekend that he has everything paid for now. And upon further prompting *even though I tried hard not to ask about it* he told me that he doesn''t have the ring yet, and may not for a couple more weeks, depending on how things go with the two vendors. We''ll see. I think it''s my diamond because it sold the day he called Whiteflash about it and because the price was right and because he seems so taken with the diamond. Even if this particular one isn''t mine, another will be soon because he bought one. But I think it''s this one.

I love my boy! At work today, a friend was trying to figure out how to bank wire money for something she found on the internet *I know, real productive day at work today* and so I called Paul because I assumed he''d done that for our stone. Anyway, he let it slip that it was only a 23 dollar discount to do that for the purchase, so he opted for the debit account thing instead, because the bank charged for the service too, and on the day he bought it, the weather was pretty bad, so he just didn''t go that route.

Anyway, he didn''t realize that in saying that, he told me that the diamond I love *is* the diamond he got. Yippeee! That''s my diamond!!! I can''t wait to see it. I know if I saw three side by side, I''d probably not see much of a difference in them at all, but I still get happy to know that we "picked it out together" and that Mara saw it in person, too. And she liked it.

My dream of having a J to match my name is going to come true. Yay!

I didn''t tell him I caught on to what he said. He''s trying to make everything a surprise, as much as he can. With me, that''s a hard thing to do.

I''m so excited to know something!

Haha! Fishie, just reading your posts is making me eager and restless!

And yep, I am helping my boy with this process cause I think if I didn''t it wouldn''t happen untill the end of the year! He''s so busy with work, he has almost no time off. And when he does he''d rather spend the time with me rather than researching diamonds. So I''m MORE than happy to research them for him!

So I know this is going to happen sometime soon, maybe 2 months! Yay!! Woohooo! But really I''m fairly calm about all of this finally. I''ve been wanting, REALLY wanting a ring since I came here to PS about 10 months ago. In the beginning I was going crazy. Had a few crying sessions when BF said we''d get a diamond but not that one now

But now I love that he has set a time and that it is coming soon. And, yes, yay yay yay for all of us!

Even though it may not seem this way, I really am pretty calm, too. I''m excited like crazy mad, but I''m not all over Paul about things, and I''m trying to stay that way. I do *love* it when he lets things slip, though. It shows me that he''s eager and excited and fully ready for the moment, too.

I won''t lie though, I do find my mind whirling around and thinking about stuff, like I wonder how long FedEx takes to deliver from either Idaho to Georgia, or from Houston to Georgia. I''m hoping that he has it this weekend, but then again, I''ve been hoping that for months now!

I''m really enjoying the excitement and eagerness though. It''s not making me nuts. Not for now, anyway.

*And about not getting the diamond you see and want, just then, yeah, I got sad, too. But, the first one we looked at and thought about getting was .42 carats. So, I''m not too upset now.

* It was a rough bit of time for Paul, though, and I''m sorry about that for him. Thankfully, things have calmed down and his car has been being good.
