Thank you so much for asking! She seems to be doing MUCH better, acting like she''s back to her old self completely but we are still restricting her activity and watching her closely. DH and I have it marked on the calendar when she completes the steroids, I don''t know if anyone else has experience with this, but they are making her SOOOOOOO hungry that she will eat anything in sight, whether it''s food or not. We had a party at our house last Sunday for our oldest daughters birthday, and I had purchased 3 dozen brown and serve rolls. Well, she found them, and ate ALL 36 ROLLS, RAW, plastic wrappers, plastic pans and ALL. AND mashed the raw dough into my berber carpet. Then pooped in the family room twice. All of this in a matter of about 15 minutes. Needless to say she wasn''t feeling too well the rest of that day. She has never done anything like that. Then the next day she pooped in the house again, right by the back door. I called the vet, and she said the muscle relaxants unfortunately relax ALL of the muscles, so she isn''t able to hold it as well as normal. When anyone eats anything, she just sits there and drools staring at them. We''ve had some nice weather the past week or so, and we are big on going for family walks/bike rides each evening and she always joins us, so it''s been hard for her to stay home when we go. She looks so sad. I don''t want her to think she is being punished, but it''s for her own good. We went for a bike ride today, and we have one of those bike trailers that attaches to DH bike and we put the younger 2 in there. DH actually was seriously contemplating purchasing another one and putting the dog in that and carting her around. I told him if he does, he has to pull her (she weighs 95 pounds) and he also has to ride 2 blocks behind me because I don''t want anyone to think I have a part in that! haha

Hopefully we are over the hardest part, it was 2 weeks this past Thursday, so we are going to restrict her activity and watch her for another 2 weeks, and then she should be out of the woods.

I''m so glad to hear that your doggy is doing better - it sounds like you are really taking the best possible care of her and I''m sure that''s helped in her recovery. I''ll keep my fingers crossed that soon she''ll be able to join you guys on your family outings.

Thats good news Girlocks.Let''s hope that your precious one gets better and better each day.
