I agree SanDiegoLady. I think platinum is beautiful when new, but it does wear with lots of scratching and it seems my friends that have it are always having to have it polished to make it look nice. It is also very heavy. I really enjoy my white gold rings. It''s just a preference.

Oh my goodness! I am loving all of these rings. I think I''d like the ring anchor posted as a pinky ring. I inherited a ring from my mom''s great-great-grandmother that I''ve promised never to take off, so I don''t have the finger for a RHR, but I sure can admire all of the lovelys you ladies have selected.

and I agree with you both - waaaaaaaaa - I guess I''m still mourning my white gold a little... I''m getting my ring in plat but at least it''s 90/10 plat so a bit harder and whiter... if I can''t have creamy white then I might as well have it as white as possible. I find it absurd when people say that plat is whiter than white gold - really it''s just as *off* it''s just grey instead of yellow. I HATE GREY!!! I''m sure that''s a result of too many years in oregon LOL
