So after much soul searching about whether or not I was done with new bling...I decided that bling doesn't take up too much space and that my jewelry box could handle one more ring--though I plan to wear this baby a lot.

Oh, I think this ring is wonderful braga123!! Very unique and also really pretty, and a real statement piece! Those stones look so sparkly. Do you know anything about it's history or time period? Will you keep it as a pinkie ring? Would love to see some pics from a little further away!

Thanks! For now, I don't have plans to size it...I've always wanted a pinky ring *but* my teen daughter suggested that it looked fabulous as a mid-finger ring, which I had considered, but dismissed because I thought it might slip off, but it stays on!

Very pretty!!! I think the only reason I might resize for a ring finger is that it is a little long for your pinky. But it is lovely!

This is such a lovely piece! I would love to hear more details: it reminds me very much of a Russian icon my mother has, though that could simply be chronology speaking if it's from the same period. How old is it??? Where did it originate??? Details, woman!

I wish I knew the details...got it from an estate sale, but the seller didn't seem to know much about it. It is 18k gold and the diamonds are super clear and shiny....the black enamel and the milgrain all looks in impeccable condition, so I am thinking that maybe it is someone's custom piece or a new reproduction....
