Your new band and earrings are georgous! I love the side view of the ring with the hearts!

Thanks!!! At first, honestly, I wondered if it would look "cheesy." You know, a little too much going on there with the metal and all (and hearts-oh dear-a little too Niagra Falls maybe?). I knew however that all of the things I had already received from this place were very nice and that I could always return it if I wasn''t happy. The effect of it in person is that it is "filligree" looking-very dainty, feminine. It lets a lot of light in. It''s just perfect.

Exactly!!!! My nails are so not photo worthy. I keep tips on them during the school year and then go naked during the summer. I may need to go get them fixed....tips and gel, here I come. I just need a big ole chunk of time where I can sit and get it done-I''m so impatient during the whole manicure process (not good at long idle conversation or watching someone else''s tv for an hr+ straight), but they surely do look good when they are done. Poor dh-I was constantly telling him during the beginning photos that I was trying not to show my nails-I cropped them out, lol. I absolutely love the Opi color "Big Apple Red"-even if it is a red (wintery color)-it goes great with diamonds.

I am so totally not a hearts person, either. They just make me cringe-too sweet. (No offense to people out there with beautiful heart pieces.) But, somehow I don''t see hearts when I look down at this. It''s just a nice blend of up and down metal in "v''s." The average Joe would not be able to see that they are hearts. What is interesting to me is how "round" this ring is. Did you notice this with your ring? It''s like, a perfect circle where I don''t think my other ring was quite so symmetrical. Or maybe I''m noticing how the sides are really there. At any rate, I like the 360 sparkle!

Ok, let me get this straight- I look at myself through the viewfinder at the mirror? See what a noodlehead I am? I am probably way off the idea here. I can see myself in a human knot, lol.
We just got back from a nice little dinner at this candlelit place in a little nearby town. A little red wine, staring at the ring and dh- kind of thing. Sigh.

As for those photos, you aim the camera at your ear lobe and use the reflection in the mirror to check the screen on the back of your digital camera to make sure you have it lined up correctly. It does take a few tries to get it right (that''s why I only posted one ear shot of my studs!!!).

I put those earrings on and have not taken them off. They seem like a second skin. Like the G and the 3 bears, these are juuuuust right. ha. I had my nails done. The Thrill of Brazil Red, Opi, love love love it. Then we drove out to help a friend pick out a hottub and I trailed my fingers through the water of the demo spas.... laaa deee dah--just staring at myself. I know people must have thought I was really,uh, strange. Enjoyed the day. Got nothing done regarding putting walls up. Ok, I took more pics and will have to get to work reducing and posting... good to hear from you. I will try your advice on the mirror-that sounds like a good idea. Now, how to keep my 13 yr old off the computer (World of W.) so I can do these pics.....

Yeah, there I was, just minding my own business-of course all under the pretense of testing how strong the jets were--squinting to see the difference the diamonds made under versus out of the water. My own little science fair going on.... hey, I''m easy to entertain.
