Just wanted to share my new skinny pave eternity. I had a half eternity made, and loved it so much that I ordered a full. Now I can see why you ladies love eternities soooo much!

It's a tiny one, less than one carat total weight and done in 18k white gold. 2 mm wide and 2 mm high. Size 4.75. You can size it a bit bigger so you can stack. And spinning is NOT an issue. Wow. I am just understanding how user friendly a pave eternity is. Btw, I wonder how durable these things are. I was wearing them while working out with weights, but protected by gloves. I wonder how many people have had diamonds pop out of these kinds of rings.

But seriously, these skinny pave eternities are so functional. I can wear them on both sides of bands with colored stones, and with my ering, just with my wedding band. It's sooooo cool. They're like the blue jeans of rings. I'm officially ADDICTED!!! Geez, just what I need, another diamond project idea brewing in my head. Now, off to go through the eternity thread.

It's gorgeous!

But... ummm... don't wear it lifting weights anymore unless you really want to replace it!

Wow! I love it. And I like all the stacking combinations too!

I agree with Dreamer about not working out when you wear your new ring and vice versa :o

It looks elegant and fine. I love the analogy of being the blue jeans of rings! Some day, I'll have some made to go one either side of my favorite sapphire ring.

Its absolutely beautiful & suits you so much!! And I agree about the weights thing. I wear mine 24/7 but I have had to have it re-shaped 3 times now in now quite 3 years. I have never lost a stone (touch wood) but it's only a matter of time :errrr:

Gorgeous ring! :appl:

so pretty and dainty, love it!

Did you have it custom made? Curious because I'm looking to get one to go with my new halo reset.

Looks beautiful!! Love the versatility of an eternity band - it looks so pretty with your other rings!

It's gorgeous! The perfect size for your hand.

And absolutely take it off when lifting weights!

Stunning! Take it off working out :errrr:

Doh!! Everyone is telling me not to wear them working out with weights. I thought about all of you when I did my body pump class yesterday. I was late and could not get my rings off because my finger had swelled so much. I even had my ering on. I was stressed the whole time. Sounds like you guys are not kidding. I thought it would be ok if I had on workout gloves, and positioned the bar not to sit directly on the rings. Sounds like that may not be good enough? I have worn my platinum band for 16 years and worked out and deformations yet. But I have never worn white gold. Maybe not as strong?

Ok, I'll figure something out. I go to the gym in the middle of the work day and not all my pants have pockets. I have to figure out someplace to put these baubles. I don't want to leave it in the locker. Does anyone have suggestions? Maybe only wear pants that have pockets on the day I use weights. If I tried to string them through a necklace, I would look kinda ridiculous with all these rings hanging from my neck. Feelin' kinda dumb...

I'm so glad you're enjoying your new eternity band. How pretty!! I just love the full eternities and I'm always surprised how many people notice the diamonds on the underside of my hand. Since I'm usually looking at the top of my hand, I had no idea how often the underside sparkle is visible to everyone around me.

That said, I try to avoid wearing mine if I'm doing something that'll bring them in direct contact w/ a hard surface over and over again for an extended period of time (e.g., working out w/ weights). Doorknobs, shopping carts, etc etc are no problem for me impact-wise.

If you can workout with a necklace, maybe you could string them on and tuck them under your shirt. I don't think they'd look ridiculous, but I'd be concerned about having so much bling visible to a gym full of people. On the other hand, while the sweat wouldn't bother me I'd be a little concerned about them rubbing or banging against each other. Wow, that's a tough one ....

Hopefully someone has some ideas because I'm sure you're not alone w/ this issue and I'd love to hear what others have done.

Hi LLJsmom, lovely full eternity.

Maybe try a safety pin and pin it into the inside of your bra while you work out so it's not bobbing around. It works for me.

What a great idea SB!! You can actually do that in a myriad of situations (not just the gym), where you find yourself needing to take your rings off & you're away from home. I'm off to get some safety pins ... .

Good idea. I am deathly afraid of safety pins but for the sake of my lovelies I will brave it! Me too! Off to Walgreens for a stash! Thank you sweet blossom!!

Just had to add one more shot, stacked with the other pave band.

I vote for having 2 full eternities (no surprise there ) especially if you're going to wear them side by side like your pic. That way, you have a sea of diamonds and you don't have to worry about the 1/2 eternity turning and showing metal (especially if you're wearing the eternity bands w/out your ering).

Oh, and I saw your posts in the other thread and I was sincerely overwhelmed by your comments LLJM!! Thank you SO MUCH for being so sweet and saying such amazing things about my rings. And an eternity band w/ 30 pointers ... wow wow and wow, I can't even picture that so I CAN"T WAIT to see what it will look like on your hand . I need to search PS and see what 30 pointers are out there!

Okay, so back to this thread, I would love to see what your ering looks like with a shared prong eternity band that has a scalloped edge like your ering. Have you ever tried any of those with it? If so, what'd you think?
