@mochiko42 How come #bacan is popular in Indonesia? Is there another mine there? I thought gem silica only came from Arizona and Peru, as some sellers have claimed?

I can imagine a beautiful gem silica in settings like these, with this spirit , ( though modified for a cabochon).

According to the sellers I've been talking to, these come from Indonesia. But obviously I don't know for sure!

Oh my, I am so going to kick myself. I was in the Maluku Islands (Moluccas) years ago to scuba dive and I never knew these Bacans come from there!
