My Future Hubby''s Ring!

Hey all. I figured since this is the "Show Me the Ring" section of the forum, it wouldn''t hurt to show off my fiancee, Nick''s, new wedding band. We''re getting married next May, and I''m really EXCITED.

Anyhow, this is my jeweler''s hand, not Nick''s. The ring is made from stainless steel. Not that it matters, but once it''s on Nick''s hand, it will be size 9.5.

I am so very happy with it!!!

I''ll be even happier when he can actually wear it!!!!!!!!!!

However my DH would say there is no benefit other than cost. He has run the gamit with SS, Titanium, Platinum and now Tungsten. Tungsten is by far his favorite for it''s uniquieness and durability with that long lasting shine. He loves it. The SS was his least favorite because it scratched easily and needed repeated polishings. The titanium became a less appealing grey color. looking dull and dirty but were fairly cheap so he''d keep replacing them. The platinum he likes but still prefers the Tungsten which he never takes off.

I don''t mean to discourage anyone in their choice of metals but I''d have to say that DH has had 3 years of ring maddness and finally has settled on the one he loves so I thought I could help out here.

Thanks cnspotts. My FI works with his hands so his WB will not be a 24/7 ring. We were just going to go with WG but SS seemed interesting.
