I might consider 2 mm bangles. Have you?

Actually, I had been thinking you might commission Karen to make them for you. She is on eBay, after all. I do know that goldsmiths in the UK usually do not customarily use 10K or 14K. I would assume that, like here, you could find some hearty artisan who would work in any karat gold you requested, however. I know the UK is regulated, but it is supposed to be home to the iconoclast, too!

Thank you for the compliment, Sharon. You have gold bangles already. How wide are the ones you have? I know they are not hammered, but they are lovely! Would you post them here?

One of the bangles kept falling off my wrist....and I almost lost it. Had to trace my steps and found it by the mailbox... . Hence I traded them in when I got my 24 k beaded necklace made. No question I miss the bright gold color, but they were too stressful to wear!

I'm sorry you were unable to wear those bracelets, Sharon, although since you were unable to it was wise to trade them for something you could wear! I remember loving the story of how you had them made! I am lucky that mine stay put. I, also, have a small wrist and hands that many bracelets fly off! My bangles manage to go on but not (knock on wood) to fall off. They are heavy enough that I think I would notice if one fell, though.

Hi Sharon!
Remind me who made your beaded necklace again? I want a beaded bracelet in either 18k or 22k and I am just having a hard time finding someone. I am tempted to buy the beads on eBay and having them strung by someone local.

Hello!
Chuk Kam Fine Jewellery
Dragon City Mall, Calgary
I ordered it in Calgary--it was manufactured in HK. It is beautifully made!

It is pretty and artistic, but it does not show how the two size 5mm bangles help fill in the size gap between the smaller and larger bangles I had previously. I will have to take some shots of the bangles together myself!

Hi again!
Wondering if you can measure the inside of the bangle for me? Did you say you have 6.5 inch wrists?

She is a goldsmith who has her own website on the 'net as well as ones on Etsy and eBay. I own a pair of 24K tiny earrings (studs) that she custom made for me a couple of years ago, so I know her work.
