Update.

He wore his new long undies last night. This morning I went in the bathroom where he was getting ready for work. The first thing out of his mouth was, You did good.

Now, this man doesn''t get excited about much, and has a very hard time accepting gifts, so this means a lot. He wuvs them!

And, he had been wearing this old, really heavy corduroy robe forever (seriously). I tried to buy him a new one a few years ago, but he wouldn''t hear of it. It still had lots of "life"

(no kidding, it was the thing that wouldn''t die). A few weeks ago, he put it on and asked why he had a robe made out of cardboard.

So I also bought him a beautiful plush robe. He said we''re not going anywhere this weekend, he''s just going to lounge around in his new duds.

So again, thanks for all the suggestions, and special thanks to VR and FG!

Yes, I second headless (for anonymity of course) model shots!

My hubby is always hot. I''m always freezing. The result is that I bought twin size comforters for my half of the bed!! I''m in long sleeves and pants and he is in undies. He grew up in Canada, so I don''t get it. Here in the deep south it''s like 68 today. (Feels like things should be blooming!)

Anyway, if he did, you''d see a white jockey V neck undershirt most likely torn in a few places.
Actually, I just replaced a lot of those things. He tried to tell me that it was considered "in" to show your regular neck undershirt under a casual shirt, at work! I looked at him the way I do when he''s absolutely wrong and that was that. (Kind of like that phase where women showed their bra straps.- Sorry if I''m offending anyone, but that''s just, yuck.)

Thanks for the update, Ellen. Just a caution about washing. I wash my Winter Silks in the washing machine on gentle with Woolite. I used to wash them with my regular detergent (Tide), but after several washings they get rather hard and crusty feeling. I think the detergent does a number on the silk. So, you do need to use a mild soap to keep them soft and silky.

Glad he likes them. You should get some for yourself.
