You said that the jeweller made the piece to your specifications I believe. Well that''s just an amazing idea you came up with - the serpent gurarding his precious jewel. I think you can give up your day job and become a jewellery designer. I can see your name up there in lights!

Ladies, I think we just witnessed the debut from the next Sotirios Boulgaris.

I love jewelry and I love to dabble around with designs. Sometimes it works and other times not.

This pearl has a baroque top and it needed to be capped. However, I didn''t want a normal cap but something unusual. I gave the jeweller an inspiration pic and he added the rest (snake head and a tail). Since right now I am into colored gems, I asked him to add the rubies and tsavorites. And Viola!!

Numero uno, definitely! Long danglies will seek to compete and fall way short. Shorter ones? A subtle compliment I think. Match the long ones with a bracelet, not the snake pearl.

Best get both pairs Megeve, just to be on the safe side!

Yah, how right you are again! Will have to wear it with the shorter ones (they are both mine). Anyway, I have been wearing the long ones mostly without any necklaces.

Oh BASEL ... a woman I used to work for got to go every year and would come back with the most amazing things. Swoon. Your necklace is phenomenal. I have to say I really dig the multiple chain look too -- even though its not "about" that -- its such a cool look on you. And the earrings are amazing with it.

Is it Party Season somewhere now? You should *move* there, wherever that is ... to get the most mileage out of your pearls!
