Thank you for all your kind replies! I thought I had a copy of the GIA cert with me, but I don''t...so I will post the details of the diamond after work tonight.

Basic info: it is a 1.24 carat H/SI2 Jubilee. It has an ''excellent'' cut and is eye-clean, since all the inclusions are near the girdle. The setting is a single pave flush mount with seven 2pt melees on each side, making it a 3/4 eternity. FI designed the setting himself, using a lot of ideas from the rings here on PS (after I ''casually'' mentioned PS to him

). He also wanted the dual prongs since they really bring out the shape of a Jubilee, as well as two 1pt ''surprise'' diamonds mounted on the lower outer rim (signifies the two of us

).

I will post more details and pictures tonight!

Those are some great shots of your ring, it''s just stunning. Do you wear a band with it???

Hey kaleigh! I will be wearing a wedding band with it...in fact, FI and I are going to the jeweler this weekend to design the wedding band. It''ll be a 3/4 eternity pave band just like the e-ring, with 2-pt melees. It''ll also have the 2 surprise 1-pt melees on the rim, although I''m trying to figure out how best to position them.

Oh that sounds beautiful Megan!!!!

oh my word... my heart is going pitter-patter and the droolometer is off the scale!!!

Oh I love all the extra pictures you posted. Very nice! Will your hubbys rings have the surprise diamonds as well?

Ohh Matatora! What an awesome idea!!

I haven't thought of that, but that's EXACTLY what I will do now!! Since our wedding bands will be different styles, it would be great to have the common bond of the same style surprise diamonds! Thanks Matatora!
