First of all, a big thank you to all the Pricescopers for being such an amazing resource and for all your advice. I wouldn''t have this perfect e-ring without you.

Shortly after FI and I started looking at e-rings, I realized that my preferred cut was a cushion. We looked for a long time at settings but I just couldn''t settle on a ring - either the rings I liked were way out of budget, or else I didn''t like the available styles. We found Pricescope through Googling and when FI finally decided to propose, he went to Mark T. based on recommendations here to buy a cushion for me. He actually proposed with just the stone because he knew I would want to pick out/design my own setting, so I came back to PS to look for someone who could make my ring. I, like so many others here, fell in love with Leon''s work, especially those double claw prongs. Luckily Leon is local for us, so we were able to meet him in person to talk about what we wanted. After 4 months of designing, debating, discussing and finally almost 2 months of just waiting (Can you tell I''m kind of indecisive?), I got my ring 2 days ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!

top/bottom view. my favorite part of the ring. there is no basket as we typically see it where the crossover element happens. the crossover basically works like the basket holding the stone in so it looks like the stone is just being cradled by the setting.

Very pretty ring... I just love Leon''s work- it''s amazing. Congrats!

Oh, very nice! Must be very sparkly with all those small stones! You need to keep practicing with the camera.

hand shot

ccuheartnurse - sigh we''ve had cloudy days since i''ve gotten the ring, i can''t wait to get some natural sunlight on this baby to get some pretty handshots.

this ring also sits super super low (which is what i wanted) but it''s very hard to capture the sparkly on the hand because of that...

Congratulations, your ring is gorgeous! Very exotic looking and totally unique. It looks fantastic on your hand. Thanks for updating your photos as the last group really shows it beautifully!!

I love how it looks like its floating. The design is very unique. I love Leon''s double claw prongs. So delicate. Your ring is beautiful.

I love how you went out there and designed something so unique.

And you had a vision of no head...just the ring holding onto the stone. Poetry! Sweet poetry.

Now...here''s the thing. Your photography skills stink! Now...I want you to spend the next week taking that baby and making us proud with studio quality shots. The mere thought of a Mark T. and a Leon getting together warrants spontaneous combustion...but your photo work is not sparking. As I say I know the stone and the ring is...no doubt! Fire baby...we need some fire! Color dancing off those stones!!

I am thrilled for you for your new beauty...really. Just get us some better shots!! Snap to it!! Kay?

If you don''t mind sharing - how much did the setting cost?

Be still my heart! That baby is *amazing* ... I adore the wrapped setting. It looks light as air, especially on your tiny finger ....

That said, I think I have to agree with DKS ... have *fun* with the shots! I know I take roughly a gazillion before I find one that does *my* baby justice ... and you''re in company that will happily cheer you along through every single "roll". (Also, jays, am I the only one who suddenly feels old?) Can''t wait to see more ....

Your ring is beautiful. Enjoy it!!!
