^^^ Thanks everybody!! Taking pix of the ring and getting the hang of the camera "macro" mode turned out to be useful, my 5 year (my ''baby''

) lost her first tooth tonight and she wanted pictures of the tooth (so small!), the nook where it used to be in her tiny mouth, etc. - and I was prepared! Anyway . . .

golden -- I actually am not going to wear a wedding band with this ring, I really loved the 3-sided pave and Leon really recommends no other rings against the 3-sided rings since the pave is so delicate, and I am fine with that. (This might horrify many PSers

) I have my plain gold wedding band that I wear alone for just bashing around, going to the gym, etc. - and a small eternity band that I can wear instead for the occasional situations where the 3 stone feels too blingy, but most of the time I will just wear this ring solo.

Mara54 - My much-adored Nikon digital SLR - USELESS for ring pictures! Great for everything else, though. For the ring pix I used my Olympus Stylus 790SW -- it''s a point and shoot, shockproof and waterproof. Only drawback - no viewfinder (miss that) just the crystal LCD display, and its color (green) bounces against the diamond and platinum. But I was very happy about how close up I could get! I have read good reviews on PS about the Canon too, I think there is a thread currently in Rocky Talky which lists the model people like.
