@LisaRN The diamond is 1.35 but because she's shallow at 55.6% she faces up a little bigger at 7.41x7.20. I think the yellow is brought out by my wedding band. On its own it wouldn't be so pronounced. But I would think that colour is more visible the larger the stone. What is the weight of your current OEC and what are you purchasing? Sounds exciting!!

Thank you all! I am grateful for all the information everyone has generously shared on PS that helped me make the leap to get an N and a shallow oec. I spent going through the MNO and old cut lovers threads and also a few shallow oec threads that gave me the confidence. I was obsessively reading but was all worth it!

So this morning with the sun out nice and bright I made lighting comparison to show N is such a chameleon.

1. On the car porch, facing outward toward the light.
2. standing in the same spot but 180 degrees, with my back to the light
3. In the dining room under fluorescent lighting
