So I went to meet with Leon today in the AM and despite the awful weather got there just a little past our appointment
time. Leon was so friendly and even said that he understood if we missed our appt today without calling him because of the weather.
I must say that I went in with some trepidation given some PSers'' experience in dealing with him. However he was patient in answering all my questions, showed me some samples of his work (gosh! SO beautiful and delicate, I was drooling!) and and was complimentary about our stone (that never hurts right??).
Our stone is a 2.22 antique cushion from Rick Shatz (Old World Diamonds), and Leon was familiar with Rick Shatz and even said that he used to only deal with D,E,F color stones but has developed an appreciation for the older ''warmer'' colored stones over the past few years.
So the stone is going to be set as a solitaire- in a setting similar to Snooper''s and Boston_Jeff''s. We CAN''T wait to see how it turns out- aaaaaaargh the waiting game! Will post pictures when it arrives- in 4-6 weeks.....
