I just took it to the appraiser (was pleasantly suprised BTW!) and then went down the elevator to the jeweler to get it re-sized. I also stopped by to see Leon at Whiteflash since it was down the hall. *nanny nanny boo boo!!* I dropped off my wedding rings to get milgrained.

I never noticed until my honeymoon that they didn't get their milgrain! They'll both be ready tomorrow.. and then I'll take some handshots! Yay!!!!

What combo do you wear the most? Do you usually wear the two diamond bands flanking the e-ring? How often do you wear the millgrained plain band?

I usually wear my engagement ring with my two diamond side bands. On occasion I mix it up and I'll wear just my engagement ring, or just my wedding band. I tried my wedding band in the middle of my two diamond bands once, and that was a nice combo. I usually just wear my wedding band when we're traveling and I'll leave the goodies in the safe. I've been wearing my wedding band on my right hand lately though.. My hand kept staring at me with these judging eyes... everytime I'd look down, she'd be looking at me. Finally I was like "What do you want?!!"

"I hate her."
"Hate? That's a strong word. You hate who??"
"The twin."
"What? Who, what twin??"
"You know.. Leftie. (she points) Over there."
"Why do you hate Leftie?"
"Cuz."
"Becaaaause why??"
"She always gets ALL the attention. It's not fair!"
"She doesn't alwa-- wait just a second here buddy. I bought you that nice wedding band from Whiteflash."
"Yah. SO?"
"So.. it's 14k gold! You should wear it proudly!"
"Yah yah... "



A few weeks later...

"Well, I felt bad about what you said the other day."
"Huh? Oh. Yah. Whatever."
"I did!"
"Uh huh."
"I got you a present."
"Whooptie do (she circles the air with her finger)."
"I think you'll liiiiikkkee it."
"Pffft."

(she stretches her fingers out and closes her fist)
"That's nice."
"What, you don't like it?"
"Eh.. its okay."
"OKAY... Well maybe Leftie would like to--"
"Alright alright! I like it! Gimmie! Gimmie gimmie gimmie! (fingers stretch)

I think she feels more appreaciated now. Everyone's happy!
