Wow matata he''s gorgeous! I am so not a kitty person, but I think this breed could sway me! when i opened the thread I thought you were buying a wild cat, lol - I never knew there was a domestic breed with these markings.
Just out of curiousity, is the reason they are so feisty like the other posters have mentioned to do with their breeding/heritage?

When I looked at the picture of the kitten with his mother, it reminded me of this poem called "Pinkle Purr" by A.A. Milne:

Pinkle Purr

Tattoo was the mother of Pinkle Purr,
A little black nothing of feet and fur;
And by and by, when his eyes came through,
He saw his mother, the big Tattoo.
And all that he learned he learned from her,

Madame Bijoux thanks so much for the poem! I was trying to find a name for the kitten in there and while Tatoo is a possibility, I can''t see myself shouting "Pinkle Purr, stop shredding the couch!"

Ninama -- I''ve watched everyone of those youtube videos at least twice. I especially like the ones with the Fennec Fox & the Savannah. What a pair! Your little chi would make the perfect snack, err, I mean, playmate for my kitten

Just wanted to say that this thread was the last thread I looked at before I went to sleep yesterday (work night shift, so I went to bed around 10am)... and I had an AWESOME dream that I found 2 kittens... one was tiny, and the other was tiny too but it was SO fat!! And I was trying to figure out how this tiny kitten could be so fat... Lol.

Anyways, your kitty is TOO cute! Love those markings...
