Last week, when we got snowed in, we did a lot of shoveling. It was very bright and sunny after the storm, just perfect to take a break from working and get some new pictures which I would like to share with you.

Guys, did you insure your ring right away or after wearing it for some time?

Holy smokes! ASAP after it is set. State Farm would not insure my stone till after it was set. The jeweler insured mine while she was making the setting.

I just have to comment AGAIN...that lovely pillowy crown! That is why I LOVE cushions. Great stone choice.

Thank you for your kind words, CareBear! I do wear the ring daily, nothing crazy you know - not at the gym and not during cleaning or dishes. However, I already cracked one of the melees on the shank. I had no idea when or how this happened. I didn't even notice. Leon told me when I brought in the ring for sizing (it was too big). I could live with it but I had an urge to replace it. It was not a problem.
