I am not sure of the width of the band, but it is fairly thin and dainty.

The setting was made by Golden State Jewelers in the Jewerly District in LA. They do beautiful custom rings but they had this setting there already. I saw it when I went to get some rings cleaned with my sister (who also had her ring made there) and my wonderful sister remembered I had liked it and took my FI to see it and the rest is history. They have such beautiful stuff there and amazing prices! If you are in the SoCal area, I would highly recommend them.

Thanks for all the love for the east-west setting! It is my favorite thing about the ring also...no one can ever figure out what shape it is. It was one of my requests for my ring and my FI completely remembered. (even to the point that when the ring was originally set and brought out to him, it was set n-s and he sent it right back to be reset...he likes it e-w also!! Sure glad he sent it back!
