I have to confess that when I got my leverbacks, I stopped wearing my studs. I just prefer these. They''re more comfortable, more jazzy, just MORE....without being too much.

I had .55 studs; I traded them for .34 studs with jackets that I wear on rare occasion. My leverbacks have become my everyday earrings. They are understated with everyday clothes (jeans/sweater), and they are glamorous for dress-up.

And believe me, I have really listened to you say how once you got these, you didn''t wear your studs anymore. But there is just a teensy part of me that isn''t convinced I wouldn''t miss my studs. I do love them so...

At any rate, I''ve just shot my wad, and any near future wads, on my Aqua. So, I have time to really contemplate this. It''s tough, because I am absolutely nuts about these leverbacks, and to be honest, *says in hushed tone* I rarely go nuts over any jewelry.

I love that they articulate; when I had mine in days of yore the head was soldered straight onto the french back so they didn''t move. They did look like they were floating, but had they "moved" like yours do, I might never have reset them. Classic and flirty all at the same time.
