for all your kind words. I''m so excited for it to get here. I really wanted to find a setting that would complement the old stone. It''s a little over 1 carat so I thought I could go for some sparkle to enhance it. I''ll let you all know once it arrives

The finish looks perfect, the pave'' looks very delicate and skillfull. What is more, they managed to match the Tiffany design exactly. That is not necessarily easy to do. The ring doesn''t appear to be a casting but I can''t tell by the photo. If it is a casting then they really know how to finish a ring as the inside parts are polished perfectly. I am impressed!

BTW, the blob looks like a grain of something that they used to dry the ring. It isn''t stuck there, so don''t pay it any thought.

Oh my goodness, it is INCREDIBLE. I am very, very pleased with the final result. My hat is off to the guys at Quest and being able to overcome the hurdles for this project. i.e. my ring size is 3 1/2 so the design had to be modified...anyway, I''m heading out to baseball but wanted to post at least one pic to tide you all over.

That is just wonderful. Quest did a great job. It is really delicate and well made. Many of the replicas of old settings do not look like old workmanship. It is so hard to find people with those skills anymore. Your ring is magnificent.
