I approached Erika Winters, was told she wouldn't customise. Since I loved my Emilya, I debated sending the stone to Victor, but felt like it would be nice to avoid the hassles of international shipping back and forth. Waffled and waffled between modern, a more vintage look, halo, simple solitaire, bezel... You name the setting, I debated it, and in the end, decided to keep it here in the UK, bezel it and halo it. I also decided that if I wasn't going to send it to Victor, rather than trying to replicate his style, to go for a setting that was more modern and free-form. Other than asking to have it set as low as possible, I left everything else in the hands of the jeweller (who was fabulous).
The weather hasn't been ideal for photography, but a few not so great pictures.
