I approached Erika Winters, was told she wouldn't customise. Since I loved my Emilya, I debated sending the stone to Victor, but felt like it would be nice to avoid the hassles of international shipping back and forth. Waffled and waffled between modern, a more vintage look, halo, simple solitaire, bezel... You name the setting, I debated it, and in the end, decided to keep it here in the UK, bezel it and halo it. I also decided that if I wasn't going to send it to Victor, rather than trying to replicate his style, to go for a setting that was more modern and free-form. Other than asking to have it set as low as possible, I left everything else in the hands of the jeweller (who was fabulous).

The weather hasn't been ideal for photography, but a few not so great pictures.

@jaaron your ring is stunning! I’m thrilled for you. ❤️
Wear in good health and blingy joy.

That’s gorgeous!
Profile shot pretty please?
I can’t tell what I’m seeing. It looks like a fine superfine bezel- then it doesn’t! :)
And no tweaking at EW? Not even a little bitty bit or was it substantial?

Amazing!!! It looks like a setting that it might have been in all its life...I really like that!

Thank you. I'll try to get a profile shot later. It is a superfine bezel-- so superfine it's basically imperceptible from the top. If it tilt it, I can see the definition.

I'd asked for relatively substantial changes at EW-- a narrow band, a donut (like the one on the Margot, no 'shoulders' from the head to the band, and the diamond set as low as possible. And since I'm in the UK, I had to go through the intermediary jeweller who represent her here, so it wasn't a direct conversation.

I love the super thin bezel! Gorgeous!

Thank you, Missy. I owe it all to you :kiss2:

Aww thanks but it was a team effort. That’s what we do here. Help make blingy dreams come true. Enjoy! It looks gorgeous on you @jaaron

What a beauty!!

It’s old school craftsmanship and a gorgeous home for your spectacular diamond. Perfection. Do you have a separate link on the diamond? Who was the setting designer? Congratulations on the superb outcome representing a lot of thought and effort.

Came out beautifully!

Now this is just stunning! That diamond looks like it has been in this setting all its life. The halo is perfect & has that delicate petal edge that I adore on older stones, giving it a really romantic look. And the diamind is HUGE! Did you buy that over here too?

Who made the setting? It's so fabulous to come across a UK jeweller worth their metal :kiss2:

it is so beautiful! you wear it so well! it's perfect on your hand. the ring looks very well and finely constructed. would love to see profile shots, if you don't mind??

may it bring you endless joy and delight!

The design is perfect but the execution! Wow. That is incredible craftsmanship that so many of strive to find.

Your diamond and setting are perfect together! Gorgeous!

Gorgeous!

ETA: Deets on the stone, please?

Talk about finger coverage. The OEC was big without the halo.

WOW! I don't like halos as a rule but looking at this, you've got the perfect balance of delicate framing and size and I love this halo. Your stone looks incredible in this setting.
Who is the jeweller? That bezel and the proportions are perfect.

Stunning! The faceting on your stone is one of my favorites on PS. Do you have the proportions from the cert?

It is BEAUTIFUL! so perfect for the stone!!! :kiss2: :kiss2: :kiss2:

Oh my! How gorgeous!! Please give us more details on the stunning stone. Also as a fellow Brit pricescoper, we need to know who made that delectable setting!
