My resetting is ready, although I'm not sure if this will be forever setting for me and my sweet oec.

There was mess up during setting and result was 4 prong. Obviously my goldsmith hasn't looked all photos I sent him, but only first, which was side picture. Or he not even listened my wishes :angryfire:

Boy, I was mad. It would take two weeks more to get it fixed. I hadn't any other option but leave my poor ring to goldsmith to repair.
My stone had been three weeks away from home and this was result :((;

Story continued with many apologies and promises it would be exactly like photos I had sent. It takes one and half week, not two, and I got my oec back home. It's better, but not exactly perfect. At first, it's not as well made as my bezel was (same goldsmith) and at second prongs aren't so delicate I hoped. IRL they aren't so visible than photos, but I hoped a little smaller. I didn't left my ring fixing anymore, because I want to check how it works like this (and I couldn't left my stone any longer there :lol: )

So here is my six prong setting, which is not perfect but my oec new home now (how long, I don't know..

Confection, I think it's beautiful :love: Admittedly the prongs are a little on the heavy side, but it still looks great - I love the style. How do you think your OEC performs now it's out of the bezel? Are you glad you made the change?

Thanks Alex T :wavey: They definately are on the larger side, unfortunately. As I said I try if I can handle it.
But yes, performance change. To my eyes the stone is brighter and more lively. And much more fire monster. I love my oec even more with this setting.

By the way; my ring is 6 1/2 (and yet too loose), bezel was about 7.

I'm sorry it's not everything you had hoped it would be. That said, the ring is lovely, the stone itself is gorgeous and your stack is AMAZING.

Rosebloom, thank You! I like my stackings too :D . Quite simple combination.

I love your solitaire confection, and it looks great with your other bands! The profile is so pretty and your gorgeous OEC looks really bright and lively - you've put together a beautiful look! :love:

Thanks for Your words, junebug! Here is something lively to You :lol:

Very pretty!

Gorgeous! Love the stacked look.

It's beautiful! I know the setting isn't exactly what you wanted, but it still all looks lovely. Maybe your jeweller could shear those prongs down a little, if such a thing is possible?

Diamondseeker, thank You!

Acinom, thanks for liking my simple stacking :appl:

Smith; same idea has rolling in my mind these couple of days I have had my ring. I' quite tired to tell professional people what I want without success. I neither know is it even possible to thinner prongs without issues :confused: The crown is fine otherwise and just what I wanted, but those monsterous prongs :(( . Although not as well made as my bezel was. I always thought that bezel is more difficult to create, but obviously not.

These are prongs I wanted and this was a photo I sent to him;

very pretty!

Your ring is so beautuful, despite the prongs :)! :love: :love: :love:

Warm regards,
Patty

Patty, many thanks :wavey: !

I looks gorgeous with your stack!

FANTASTIC!!!! It looks amazing with your stack!!! :love: :love: :love:

I love bezels but think this new setting brings more life to your beautiful diamond! Perhaps they can thin down the prongs a bit, but it still looks lovely! Very elegant with all of your stacking rings :))

I think it looks very delicate as it is. How thin is the band?

AprilBaby and bastetcat; many thanks! Here's couple photo more with my thinner gold band. Sometimes I wonder if my stack combination is too traditional and boring, because there is so many beautiful shown in PS. He in Finland isn't fancy stackers available, only traditional diamond or gemstone bands :((

Woofmama; thanks!I think I'll ask that, because they disturb me quite a much. And yes, I think that my stone looks happier now :D

Pregcurious; yes, the shank is perfect. It is on cathedral area 1.2mm (width) and 1,5 (height). Bottom of shank is 1.8mm (width) and 2mm (height).

I love it! The prongs don't stand out as "large" to me? Your stack is amazing.

Oh Soxfan, Your words makes me feel little better ( because YOU have perfect setting). Thank You!
