First off, that''s a lovely lovely ring! I wasn''t sure reading your post but do you have an ering yet? If not, I''d really consider either getting a nice EC or asscher as a center stone, with 2 of your smaller stones on each side...OR...Get some delicious Ceylon sapphire - maybe EC or cushion - and slap two of those lovely stones on each side! Man that would look wonderful! Maybe widget will show her fantastic sapphire to give you an idea.

Second, thanks for posting that plotting chart widget. I thought there were square cuts that had no windmills but I wasn''t entirely sure. Do they cut larger stones without windmills? Just wondering. I really like the neatness of the stone with those crisp diagonal lines. Yummy!

Thanks Surfgirl, I acctually just ordered a Asscher cut e-ring with pave setting through JA. Just posted the thread on RockyTalky "Asscher Help"less than a week ago. I thought of using these diamonds as side stones but I really wanted something quite simple, it woud be too much bling with these babys on the side. I work in healthcare, and would like to be able to wear the e-ring everyday. But someday I will reset them again, dont have the funds now though.

Hi vespergirl, thank you so much. You and asscher girl have two of my favorate looking asschers. I love your wedding band, can you tell me about it?

Oh wow. Your ring is VERY beautiful!

It looks great on you.

I am in love with step cuts.

Very nice! I know it''s exciting after wanting the ring for so long. I love the story and it makes me jealous. I just know if I worked in a jewelry store where anything that got pawned it would only be junk...I would never have such a lucky opportunity. This is an amazing ring!!

What a really COOL ring you have. And a wonderful story to go with it. Congrats!

Wow, what a find! It''s a very pretty ring. Congratulations.

Hmmm...those are beauties!!! Before you said you had ordered your e-ring, I was picturing an Asscher solitaire and those babies as the wedding band, but I guess that might be overkill!

I love the memories behind it and you are a lucky girl! Wear those babies with pride!

WOW!! You lucky, lucky girl, that ring is to DIE for!!!

I thought about that too, it would be over kill. Also its great to have two babies, one for right hand one for left. I really do need to reset it though...someday.

I went to the nail salon just the other day and noticed when drying my nails under the drying lights one of the middle diamonds had a blue floresence to it. I wonder if I sould take that one out and just have a 3diamond ring if I ever reset it, but what to do with that one?
