Awww...thanks guys! I'm a bit of a hobby photographer and as great as my lil Canon is, I'm sooo lusting after a digital SLR. Oh well. In due time

My DH chose the setting! I'll definitely take more hand shots and post them.

Mara - For lighting, I used the tungsten setting on my camera to cool the images (like the two on the tripod)...I took those photos in full, bright sunlight. In other photos, the diamond was simply reflecting blues from the sky and my shirt.
