How do you feel about the L color in platinum? I'm going to commission a stone, and just can not decide what color to shoot for...

And how do you feel about that size stone on you 4.5 finger? I'm also 4.5 - curious to know what size you prefer for daily wear.

My stone faces up totally white. Those pictures are macro pics and there isn't a hint of color. Well-cut OEC's will often face up whiter than MRBs in the same color. I looked at your posts and saw your budget. If I had your budget, this is what I would buy in a hot minute. I thought it was on hold, but it seems that it's available:

I have three rings- I alternate them daily. One is a .93 OEC in a halo, the other is a 1.59 OEC pear in a halo, and this one. I honestly just pick which one I will wear depending on my mood or where I am going....

It's here! What can I say? The prongs are perfection. The tapered shank makes me stone look HUGE. And my stone looks perfectly round now- so glad I went with 8 prongs.

At first I was shocked at how thin the shank was, and then I realized it was because it was similar to a knife-edge, taller than it was wide. It's a very dainty solitaire setting. It just makes the stone pop SO much. I love it.
