Hello everyone. I received my ring a couple of weeks ago and finally have time to share some pictures with all of you.

The setting is from Danhov's Meno Collection in 18k white gold with a 1.01 ct, E VS1 Radiant center stone, size 5.25. I purchased the diamond from Abazias.com and the ring from JamesAllen.com, and then sent the stone directly to Danhov to be set per JA's instructions. Everyone was a joy to work with and the process couldn't have gone smoother.

I have a handful of shots to share, I'll start with it in the box.

I had the diamond at my house for several days before I had to ship it off to be set. I was playing around one morning and captured this shot with the stone in the palm of my hand. It's my little piece of a star. lol

Congratulations on your engagement and new ring. I don''t remember ever seeing a radiant cut IRL, and the split shank is a somewhat unusual feature (IRL) as well. I always take notice to things that stand out from the crowd! Enjoy wearing it!

Your setting is lovely and I soft spot for split-shanks!

I have to admit I absolutely love everything about my ring and the fact that it''s somewhat unique suits me perfectly. I tend to shy away from what everyone else has, so have been pleased to not see many split shanks around (so far anyway).

I guess perhaps I should tell you the rest of the stone''s specs:

GIA 1.01ct E VS1
6.51 x 5.38 x 3.41
Polish/Symmetry - VG/VG
Fluorescence - Medium blue
Table - 68%
Depth - 63.4%
Girdle - Very thick
Cutlet - None

Here is another bundle of shots starting with the stone unset. My fiancé likes this shot best even though the diamond is just laying in my hand.
