Yeah, me too, but there''s no way I''m going to wear it with my SP wedding band. It will be scratched up in a matter of hours. I''m probably going to get a Scott Kay pave band. We''ll see. At the moment, I''m enjoying the ease of the plain band. Very comfortable too!

You know, I''m not a huge fan of channel set bands either, but my wedding band is an engraved eternity channel set!

If the diamonds in your channel set band were slightly smaller and the band were a bit more delicate looking, i think it''d be a winner!

That said, a matching plain band is always a stunning accompaniment! Your stone can obviously stand on its own.

I was concerned about the comfort issue at first, but really it''s not an issue. The knife-edge is definitely pronounced, but it''s not at all sharp. Also, compared to my shared prong set, this one is much more comfortable.

LLL--thanks! Actually, it was seeing your beautiful new six-prong head that got me thinking about the importance of fluid, graceful prongs.

Thanks, Leila! I can't recommend this setting highly enough. I am so thrilled with it! But your Precision Set is a knock-out! I can't wait to see it with the new stone.

Portoar--yeah, I've decided definitely to leave the prongs alone. Why mess with the ring. I only notice them in pictures, not in real life. And, even then, they don't bother me.

I''m working with Bill at Pearlman''s on a 2.5mm Scott Kay pave band. He''s going to send it to me to preview when he gets is from SK. I will definitely see how it looks to wear the diamond band in the middle. Fun!!

It''s beautifully classic. There is something just so elegant about the simple solitaire with matching band.
I think you have inspired me to start wearing my Vatche RC with my plain platinum wedding band for now.
