Hi Everyone!!!!!

As you know I purchased a LOGR setting that came with an amethyst.

Because of the vast knowledge you have provided regarding colored stones, cuts, vendors, and brilliance I decided I needed to replace the amethyst (had no personality to me and wasn't certain if it was genuine or not).

With so many beautiful settings and colored stones on Pricescope to view, my search was most exciting!!!!

Purchased the 1.84carat 7.35mm round Tanga Garnet from Barry at ACE because I LOVE the brilliance and cut of his rounds and the photo representation of his stones on his website are pretty dead on.

Thank you sooooooo much for the knowledge! I was clueless!!!! But thanks to Pricescope Im not clueless anymore! :praise:

Without further ado... :D

The stone and setting are gorgeous!

So are your photos - excellent job!

Good for you going with a stone that's not treated, all natural, and has an excellent cut on it from Barry. It's a definite improvement over the amethyst, and you still can enjoy your beautiful setting. Just lovely!! Enjoy.

Good job Zesty! It looks sooo much better w/the Barry stone!

Yay for Barry and yay for your new beautiful ring!

BEAUTIFUL!
The stone looks amazing! I am normally not a fan of yellow gold, but I think it is perfection with this colored stone .... beautiful together!!!

Beautiful!

Ohhh, that delicate setting is gorgeous on your hand, and perfect for

I made a wise choice thanks to all of the knowledge that was shared with me and all the other forums on PS that provide sooooo much information!!!

Thank you again for all of your kind and encouraging words!!!!! :D :D

Beautiful stone, and a very interesting ring, I think overall, you got a very nice return on your "amethyst" purchase. Barry's stone looks wonderful, beautiful color.

Very pretty and great photos.

Ooh La La! That is stunning!

LOVE the color!

Your ring is lovely, that setting really shows off Barry's gorgeous cutting. Congratulations! :appl:

Sweet! The stone is luscious and the setting is so delicate - I love it.

May I suggest, though, that you get a jeweler to look at the prongs? On one of the profile shots, it seems that the stone is being held by the very tip of the prong only, and that is not very safe.
