Butterfly your ring is amazing!! I love the diamond, the patterns and the colors it reflects are simply gorgeous. Do you notice a difference from your previous diamond in terms of its light performance?

I have a slight threadjack here, but I notice you have the 7 stone .56ct tiffany band, it looks great with your new ring - complimentary not matching. I wonder if you happen to know the exact height of the tiffany band off the finger? I mean, how tall it sits off the finger... I tried that band on with my own very low-profile solitaire and it worked well, it was only a little taller, but they couldnt tell me the height and I want to know because I am thinking of having a similar band made by WF.. anyways long story short, if you happen to know the height I''d totally appreciate it!

Aww, thanks guys! I love it and had it at work the other day, I can''t actually wear it at work, but I just got it so I kept it in my pocket and when I would go on break, put it on, like a freak, yes, I know, but anway, I love love love it!

I am guess here, but about 3 mm high. I only say guess because when I take off my 3mm band,it is about the same height when I hold it perpendicular.

I love the tiffany band and originally bought it when I had my royal crown setting. I searched everywhere for a ring that was low set. The only ones I found where the tiffany one and the memoire band, but I like the open gallery in the tiffany ring better.

I once saw a beautiful picture of someone''s 3.17 HOF diamond and it was in low light conditions and the arrows where like rainbows. It was the best picture I have seen just because the arrows were so gorgeous!

Thanks butterfly!! I tried that band on and it looked good with my solitaire, so if it is 3mm and the one WF created is 2.3mm, then I would probably be happy with the height of the WF one.

How cute about carrying it in your pocket at work! How come you can''t wear it there? That would break my heart to not be able to wear such an amazing ring all the time

I can''t wear it to work because I am a nurse and work in NICU and we aren''t allowed to wear any rings, bracelets, watches, etc. Just because they tend to breed bacteria since they are not often cleaned and we don''t want to touch the newborns and possibly expose them.

Although, I think my diamond might be the cleanest (hello ultrasonic) in my hospital!
