Hey everyone. I finally am getting around to posting this.
When we went to our jewelers to have them re-design my ering and design our bands, my DH had them also design a matching two tone celtic diamond necklace that he could give me on our wedding day.
It came out awesome! Its 14K white and yellow gold, the yellow gold is brushed just like our wedding bands and it is hung on a 1.5mm white gold wheat chain. With a marquise and a pear diamond. These diamonds were inherited when my Aunt passed away and it was really great to be able to use them in something.
The marquise I know the stats and it is 0.42 VVS1 D color. The pear I dont have the stats on but its somewhere around 0.7, but not a great cut. DH wants to upgrade the pear for our 5 anniversary, so we will see.
I know some of you have seen some of these pics in all my wedding shots, but I really wanted to share a more detailed post on the necklace because I love it so much.
